A straw poll of some of the University of Colorado's major athletic department donors this week revealed that segment of the fan base to be frustrated with the football team's 0-2 start but still supportive of the coaching staff.

I think in this situation, a "straw poll" means they asked a few people who they knew were supportive of the staff what they thought about the staff. Anecdotal evidence of three people doesn't equal a representative sample. Lame and weak article.
 
Stephen Tebo isn't about to spout off to a sports reporter about Embree. If he's pissed, he goes straight to Steve Bosley.
 
Very straightforward comment by Fulton, a long-time booster, good to hear:

"It doesn't take a genius to read the newspapers and figure out that some universities are encouraging more status in the football arena than the University of Colorado. It's a shame really."
