Such is the dismal state of affairs with the University of Colorado defense that there really was a genuine silver lining or two to be found amid the aftermath of the Buffaloes' latest lopsided defeat, this time a 38-3 setback against Washington at Folsom Field.

Here's what the Huskies have been able to do point wise on the road this season:

LSU 3
Oregon 21
Arizona 17 (yes, that Arizona)
Cal 21
Colorado 38

So.. we almost doubled their previous high of scoring on the road. That is, in fact, not a great offense, at least on the road. So yeah, lets celebrate!

Don't even know what to say. How could you highlight anything from this season as a positive? Heart-->broken.

When your offense turns the ball over 5 times and (I believe) needed its final possession to go over 100 yards on the day... your defense is going to give up some points.

38 is an improvement to what this team has been giving up, too. Sure, UDub missed a lot of opportunities and didn't execute or they would have had 50, but all things considered it was still one of our better defensive performances of the year.

So, I agree with the article.

Today, our defense was only awful instead of its typical 'historically inept' level of performance.

Yay?

Hahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Whew! Did anybody see the sub-headline? Wow! Hahahahahaahahahahahaha!

"Buff unit kept Huskies in check for most of the first half"

And from the critical standard of local journalism, this is something to trumpet?

We.are.so.****ed.
