One-time star football recruit Lynn Katoa came to Boulder in 2008 hoping to spend four years on the field making tackles for the Buffs. Instead, after numerous run-ins with the law and a stint on the Boulder Police Department's most wanted list, he will spend the next four years in a Colorado prison.

If he never played a down of football at CU and barely even practiced with the team at all, is he still a "former Buff"?

Excellent timing, with the two assault arrests last weekend. The Denver Post and their ****ing hack beat writer are probably creaming themselves with glee at the opportunity to put the two stories together and call them a "pattern".

Actually, the ****ing hack beat writer was probably creaming himself over 14 year old girls gymnasts, not glee. Although he might cream himself over both....

That's just BS if CU won't transfer in his prison course credits. Our admissions rules are ridiculous.
