Former KU QB Jordan Webb considering transfer to CU

Big Bang, as I have said before, you can find impact RBs/WRs/DBs this time of year available to play immediately. Those type of athletes can slip through the cracks for various reasons.

Quality QBs and DTs that can play right away (which is what you were arguing for in the past) are nearly impossible to find. Very few fall through the cracks because everyone is looking for those positions. Even Wood had to sit out last season. Is this really that hard of a concept to grasp?

Point being, the coaches are looking for experienced depth at QB that can help immediately. The latest Hirschman injury seems to have changed their thought process. The options out there at this time of year are limited, so taking a guy like Webb might be their reasonable choice.

Glad to have him as a back-up. If he starts we have problems. Either way we got better today. Webb>Hirschman imo

So Webb has definitely joined the team? Will he be in the already going Spring drills?

So is he definitely on the team or what? Linkage? Rumor? Inside info? What's the deal?

Upon taking over the Jayhawks, Charlie Weis told Webb that he would not be in the running at QB. Webb, who graduates in May and has two years of eligibility remaining, could be a very good fit for Colorado. Coach Jon Embree has little to work with at the position and the only player that has as much as attempted a pass in college, Nick Hirschman, is missing spring practice due to injury Mar. 16 - 10:07 am et

I wondered about why a coach would do that and found an article saying weis was bringing in a QB from noter dame. That can't have agood impact on the other ku players, but maybe no-one cares.

Welcome Jordan and

Go Buffs!

Well I suppose this is a good move as long as he's better than Hirschman, which shouldn't be too hard.

From watching a few minutes of that highlight video, it seemed he was pretty similar to Hansen, yeah?

That is a ringing ****ing endorsement....

don't see how this can hurt us. And Webb gets to get an actual education! awesome.
