    Yes. In West's case, though, he never redshirted so he'll still get 2 years to play at NC State.

    But the jury's still out on whether Embo cut West or West asked for his release. (Not that it would impact the NCAA transfer rules either way.)

    Are you sure about that? That doesn't seem right if they were released from their contract. If you are correct then that is just wrong. Wasn't Richardson released from his contract and allowed to play immediately?

    Richardson never began the 2010 academic year at UCLA.
