Here is a collection of every game from the last 2 seasons (and this season). Most are full game replays, but the ones I couldn't find are just short highlights. If anyone finds full game links for the few I'm missing, I can add them...

Thanks for posting these. Wishing the 2016 ASU game could be found on YouTube.

Watched the Michigan game through Sefo getting hurt. Wow. What a missed opportunity. The blocked kicks killed us. Even with Montez in (and the WR’s dropping balls). Thanks for the links. Will enjoy other games. This is helping pass the days until the CSU game.

That UCLA game though-The play where Sefo completed the pass to Phil after telling the referee he got facemasked......heart of a buffalo right there.

The first half of the 2016 CSU game is a great example of how good our WRs were at blocking that year.

1st half of that game - awesome
2nd half - boring af

I always think about The Rise episode when MM said he wasn't going to call the dogs off. He totally called the dogs off.

We should have won that game. It's understandable that we didn't, we were still learning that we could win games like that, but we still should have.

May be the biggest obstacle for this years team to overcome. Last year they forgot how to win games.

They have got to develop the confidence that they can win and then they have to prove it to themselves by winning some tight games that others think they aren't supposed to.

Great Sefo play, but his best of all time was throwing that strike to Shay with a ****ed up ankle in the Michigan game. Amazing grit.

Oh another one of my favorites from him too.....That one stands out a bit more because Brady Quinn's goofy ass was giggling as he was talking about the replay on the FS1 telecast that night.

I just watched the first part of the CU/Michigan game from 2016, because I think that game is eerily similar to this week's game @ nebraskuh, and I have some interesting thoughts regarding our chances vs. the neebs.

  • We ended up losing that game by 17, but anyone can point to a number of plays that, had they gone differently, would have vastly changed the trajectory of that game. (Missed FG, blocked punt for a TD, punt into the backs of the blockers, huge returns from Jabril Peppers, etc. and those are just the special teams plays) But what stood out was our fearlessness in both play-calling and certainly from the beginning of the game. We took shots off the bat to try and quiet the crowd and it was working. If we simply execute on special teams, I would have to think we go into halftime up 24-3 or something like that, and who knows what would have happened. (Especially if Sefo doesn't get hurt...)
  • Anyway, I think we can expect a similar approach from Coach Mac and Coach Chev this week. Attacking from the get-go. Deep shots, trick plays, and very aggressive play-calling, if for no other reason than to try and quiet the crowd that is sure to be riled up.
  • Also, that Michigan Defense was legit. So many professional players were on that D. They had NFL talent at all 3 levels of the defense. nebraskuh, well, doesn't.
  • Also, the week before that game, Michigan stomped UCF by 30+. UCF was coached by... Scott Frost, in his first season.
  • Finally, Wilton Speight was the QB for Michigan, and had a number of starts under his belt. Certainly more than a true freshman that missed his senior year of HS
I also looked at the stats from nebraskuh's 2017 campaign (thanks CUatthegame) and they were surprisingly bad running the football. Like 119th in the nation bad. Do you think an offensive line that is used to pass blocking is all of a sudden going to transform into a spread option running team? I don't.

Finally, that 2016 Michigan team didn't play nebraskuh that year, but they did play a number of common opponents. Like when they beat Wisconsin 14-7 (who beat NU in OT that year) or Iowa (Michigan lost to Iowa 14-13, the neebs lost 40-10) and Ohio State (Mich lost in 2OT, neebs lost 62-3).

tl;dr: 2016 Michigan was much better than 2018 nebrakuh, and we were in that game vs. Michigan. Self-inflicted wounds hurt us in that game. If we can avoid those, I like our chances vs. the cornholers

Stephen Barnett, the channel responsible for many of the videos from 2016, as well as countless classic CU games from the past, just had his account nuked for copyright infringement. A dark day.
