Men's basketball (15-15 overall; 7-12 in the Pac 12) finish off the regular season with a 1 game weekend, as they host the Utah Utes (17-13, 10-9) this Saturday afternoon on Senior Day. A win will insure a .500 record or greater for the season, at least through the Pac 12 Tournament (which begins this coming Wednesday).

Note - As I type this, the current NET rankings (dated 3/1/23) have CU at #74 while Utah is at #69.

The game is scheduled to be shown on the Pac 12 Networks. (More info and links near the bottom of this post.)

Go Buffs!!!

(Cubuffs.com preview(s) not available as I type this. )

It would be fun to be able to quantify the amount of work/restriction these guys, and all Buff athletes, put out each year, to play for CU.
The hours of practice, film, training, workouts. Diet, planning, mental discipline. Travel, study. Few days off, barring injury/illness.

It would be great to see the seniors, and the team as a whole, go out with a convincing victory.
We are at home.
Go Buffs!

I have so much respect for D1 athletes that graduate in 4-5 years.

Including, maybe especially, the walk-ons. Love of athletics and competition, no glory.
I hope TdS is better, but if he can't go, Cody and the Ivies may get a chance to shine.

(today there is a community food collection at the EC. 1st item on the list of desired items is:
"Nut Butters"
So, I'm thinking, 'what's this, some kind of candy bar'?. And then I remember, this is Boulder)

Tad said he'd discuss KJ later.
DeS and Gabbadon will both be available, DeS is still a little hampered

Quincy Allen gets stripped taking a very bad shot. Does that dude just not want to play?
Dude, wasn’t even taking a shot. Took place 5 feet north of the key. We can be critical, but let’s keep it honest.

Defense has been excellent. Will interesting to see how this goes without KJ. Kind of worried about the tone of “I’ll address KJ after the game”.

Why does Tad have Allen in the paint as the center of the box and 1 on Carlson? WTAF?

Big props to the guys who played today. They played their asses off and played well. Julian was good. Nique was good. LOB and Lawson did what they do. Tristan gritted through it and played well. Really impressed with the effort.

Utah was terrible. I don’t know how they beat Arizona.
