Prior to the game the conversation with my son was about the probability of the Buff win. My concern was that there would be hangover from the Arizona game combing with it senior night for Utah making it an emotional challenge. Boy was I wrong. CU came out with a take-no-prisoners attitude and only let up when the game was effectively over. The level of confidence when taking a shot was supremely high for Battey and Walker.
Let's be honest about this game, CU's three point shooting was the major difference maker in opening up the double-didget lead. Yes they out rebounded Utah and committed nine turnovers while assisting on 18 baskets. The large lead they built in the first half and expanded in the second allowed them to get away with not playing the best of defense.
