So, with 3 matches remaining where they're probably the favorites, the Buffs start the hunt to equal their program best 11-9 Pac 12 conference record last year (they're 8-9) right now with a match in Berkeley this evening. Although Cal's having an off year, they played the Buffs VERY tough in Boulder a few weeks ago, so the Buffs had better bring their "A game" tonight on the road.

Cal enters the weekend with a 9-18 overall record. The Bears are tied for 10th in the Pac-12 with a 3-13 record. The Buffs defeated Cal 3-1 (25-22, 36-34, 17-25, 25-17) in Boulder earlier this season. The all-time series is tied 5-5 as CU has taken the last four straight contests against the Bears.
"
Note- after the above was written, Cal lost a tough 5 setter to Utah Thursday evening.
