Assuming no Covid-19 or other issues (the CU team tweeted an hour or so they are in the air "off to Vegas"), the Buffs (4-1, 0-0) are scheduled to continue their season at the "Far West Classic Las Vegas" tournament, facing off against the Washington Huskies (1-5, 0-2) Sunday night and the Grand Canyon University (GCU) (Ante)Lopes (4-1, 0-0) Tuesday night. (The other team in the tournament is San Francisco (USF), who GCU will be facing Sunday evening. The Dons were also supposed to face CS- Fullerton, but that game is showing as cancelled.)

The Buffs of course should NEVER overlook a conference foe, and will also not want to take the Lopes lightly, as in their last game they only lost by 1 point to then #23 ranked ASU.

Note- for those not aware, it has been announced the game against Washington will NOT be considered a conference game.

Video Coverage for both games is on the Pac 12 Networks. (See below for more detail.)

Go Buffs!!!

Tad must be loving how this team is defending despite losing Bey.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Are they better defensively even though they’ve lost Bey? Everyone is more locked in because they don’t have Tyler to make up for mistakes.

This team is so deep and talented. Damn they are an under the radar team right now. This could be a special year and looks too be so much fun. Points and D. Movement and really good shot selection.

Hopefully it's a reaction to what happened to them last year and they stay focused mostly. Definitely don't have the margin of error if we aren't locked in with Bey gone.

Remember when this core couldn't beat a zone D? Tad's done some work.
Our offense is soooo much better this year than I've ever seen it under Tad. No standing around waiting for the shot clock to run out and then throwing up prayers. We are constantly moving and cutting.

there was one game a few games ago where we were having trouble getting the ball in bounds but nothing like we've seen in the past.
