Tony was excellent. Was that in Missoula when we actually knocked off Stanford to the shock of everyone, including ourselves.

There wasn't much in the way of hotels in Missoula so the NCAA had us and Texas Tech staying at one hotel and Stanford and the other team that was supposed to lose at another hotel.

Texas Tech dominated us from tip-off and were actually fun to be around. That was the year they won the national championship with Sheryl Swoopes

I used to belong the a WBB board for the Big 12. One of the women on there remembered meeting me in Missoula.

That was the year I ended up being roommates with the mother of Shelley Sheetz as there was no room to be had for the first game. Ceal called and asked me if I would share and they gave us the team rate. Of course, her mom reimbursed me,
