I'll admit Barney isn't too bad on the radio. **** anybody would sound good next to that tool Mark Johnson. Still a weird choice since Barney started CU down the path to irrelevance.

Yeah, listened to CU broadcast before Johnson showed up. Johnson was a godsend.

I cant listen to mark johnson. His habit of telling you what the actual result of the play is after he tells you pretty every thing else he can think of gets old.

The thing that frustrated me with Zimmer doing play by play was that he would start to sound really excited on a play and you would visualize the guy being 20 or 30 yards down field and then come to find out it was a 7 or 8 yard gain.

I don't have an issue with Johnson but get why some do. But he does really love the program and is a good guy, so I give him a pass on his hyperbole and description of the game. And be thankful that KOA broadcasts the Buff games. Be very thankful for that.
