Vegas has spoken. And it's pretty spot on. Here's a look at the odds for Big 12 teams to win the national title.
  • Oklahoma: 15/2
  • Texas: 14/1
  • Nebraska: 15/1
And to win the Big 12:
  • Oklahoma: 5/4
  • Texas: 2/1
  • Nebraska: 2/1
  • Missouri: 12/1
  • Texas A&M: 16/1
  • Texas Tech: 18/1
  • Kansas State: 20/1
  • Kansas: 40/1
  • Oklahoma State: 40/1
  • Colorado: 50/1
  • Baylor: 50/1
  • Iowa State: 80/1
That looks about right to me, closely reflecting my preseason power rankings, with a few exceptions. Kansas likely slides above Iowa State because of the back-to-back games on the road against Texas and Oklahoma. That willl shoot down anybody's chances of winning the Big 12.

Vegas agrees with me on Kansas State, a team some aren't nearly as sold on.

I like the order they've got the divisions in, and there's a decent shot the entire South division is bowl-eligible, while three teams from the North finish above .500.

You can definitely make an argument for Texas Tech to finish above the Wildcats. But what do you think? Who is too much of a long shot, and who is given too much credit?
