EL PASO, Texas — The University of Colorado men’s golf team is in second place through two rounds of the second annual UTEP Price’s Give ‘Em Five Invitational, CU’s final competition of the fall season.

The Buffaloes opened the day with their best single round score of the fall season, a 13-under par 275, enough to stand in first place though it was good for only a one-shot lead over Air Force. CU’s true freshmen twins from Germany, Jeremy and Yannik Paul, were the catalysts to that score, both recording their best collegiate rounds. Jeremy scored 10 birdies en route to a team-best this fall, a 7-under 65, while Yannik had an eagle and seven birdies on his way to a 6-under 66.
