The point no one, at least from Mizzou could understand was that play calling is based on down and distance and had Mac known it was 4th down then we would have never spiked the ball, if we had run a real play on 4th down and gotten stuffed but then ran another play then I would conceded that game. Spiking the ball is almost a non-play.
