| BOULDER—Freshmen Megan Haase and Allie Zech both earned recognition on the 2012-13 Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-America Scholar team, released Monday. To qualify, a golfer must maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average and play in two-thirds of the season’s competition. Haase and Zech become just the third duo to earn the honor in the same season, all of which have occurred in the past three seasons. Alex Stewart and Jess Wallace earned the honor last season while Wallace and Taylor Doyle both did two years ago. |
