If true, that is a 100%, slam-dunk, no questions asked indication that Hawk is gone.
Where is this story coming from? And if true, you can take it to the bank that he's gone.
In another thread, someone said it's on Rivals. So it must be true.
Nothing showing up on Scout.com for visits for this weekend, or for December ...
Rivals still showing tight Kyle Slavin (already a CU commit) and unrated running back Jeremy Langford from Westland, Michigan still coming in this weekend. Nothing after that ... :gobuffs:
There is no link. The people saying this though are rumored to be former players or have ties to someone within the AD. Its purely off the record type stuff.
From posters who know their stuff
I asked the MOD on RIVALS this morning and his answer -
"Yes, according to our sources, it sound like that is the case."
What could possibly be gained by canceling visits? Anyone who visits knows the coaching situation and likely will be annoyed to have thier Thanksgiving plans (traveling with family?) cancelled.
They don't want recruits to see BIG RED owning FolSCUM and decide to become part of the BIG RED machine. Simple as that.
you are limited on the total number of visits you can have (58 or something close to that) and CU has already used approx 30. You would want to save some for the new coach to use with recruits he wants to bring in.
or it's not true, and there's 11 recruits attending. I heard it first at FootballRecruitingTripsExpedia.com
Yeah, and I heard all 11 are silent commits.
