The rule says that "publicly designated" head coaches-in-waiting like Muschamp can now make only one off-campus visit with a recruit, the same limit imposed on head coaches. Other assistants can have multiple in-person visits.
Texas athletic director DeLoss Dodds said Texas feels it was targeted by the rule and is now at a recruiting disadvantage
