in need of improvement thread

the way that i see it, we have a couple areas in need of improvement:

* dropped balls. 4 yesterday. they are becoming less catastrophic. still, this needs to be ironed out.
* students. they need to act in a manner that would indicate that they are aware of what time the game starts vs what time it is. their asses need to be in the stands BEFORE kickoff. period. the buffs responded to the crowd energy yesterday. it is not that hard to commit to a full 60 minutes of regulation cheering like an insane person.

Just these:

-Putting this win behind and focusing on the next.
-Hugh and Lil hawk should play more like they did in the 2nd half.

echoing jerry... great win.

now, prove you can win on the road in a hostile environment and do what you are supposed to do to a so-called inferior opponent.

KILL BAYLOR!

oh yeah... on topic... TURNOVERs. gotta work on that... those 2 tipped balls were brutal. gawd, what a great freaking game!

Cody still has a tendency to lock on to just one receiver. He missed two potential easy TD's on Saturday. The first was on CU's first scoring drive where Solder ran completely uncovered down the middle of the field and Hawkings through it to the outside to a well covered wideout. The second was in the 3rd qtr where J-fly was open on a deep post patern and instead Hawk through into tight coverage trying to hit Devree [ I think it was Devree]. And in both cased Hawk had time to look for the open guy it appeared.

****ING SHOT GUN SNAPS!!!

Tackling on punts and kick offs. There were a couple of kicks that should have been over before it started with the coverage we had down field but our special teams guys didn't wrap up and gave OU some chances to break some big returns. Gotta get better at this quick.

Need to the get the TE's involved more in the O. We have an advantage at that position against nearly every team we will play but the TE's only get the ball 2-3 times per game. They are a resource we should tap into more.
