It can be done

Dolphins special teams were horrible all season. The other night was the worst and on Monday night. Dude needed to be fired!

Luckily, Kent Riddle is the best special teams coach in the country.

Why would we want to get rid our special teams coach? They are in fact special.

I know this is all in jest, but it's a lot easier to fire a coach in the NFL than it is in College. There's no shortage of guys who will want to step up and take over the job of special teams coach at an NFL team. Running the special teams at CU is not exactly a plum job. Even if you suck, changing course mid-season would probably make you even worse.

BYU sacked their DC last week. Only problem with that is Mendenhall took over the duties. The only coach we have worse than Riddle is Hawk.

KyleRingo:
Well, Riddle isn't solely responsible for the special teams. Hawkins is responsible for a lot of it and does a lot of the coaching of special teams.
I think this is pretty explanatory.

Fire Riddle and let Jashon Sykes take over special teams. He is already on the pay roll and would bring a little more fire to the coaching staff. Not sure who would take TE's.
