Still, not much difference, you're delusional if you think NU is some big time program right now and significantly better than CU, THEY'RE NOT! You have a had a good bend not break defense save your ass in almost every game you won this year. Your offense couldn't score 30 points against Alaska Tech. You lost to Iowa st at home, and got killed by Texas tech at home. Your last 4 wins since the ISU loss are to teams who have a combined 24 losses.
You are a team on the rise, but please for the love of god, STOP ACTING LIKE YOU ARE BIG TIME! FAR FROM IT! And still a lot closer to CU right now than Texas.

When did I say that we are big time? Just bigger time then you right now. There isn't much difference in the last 8 years. Aside from the wins over top 15 teams NU holds a fairly decent advantage in the last 5 years. We don't have to score 30 points becasue we don't allow many. I would agree we are closer to CU then Texas, but the point is we are a better team then you are right now. Maybe that will change on Friday but, I doubt it.

I never said CU was better than NU right now, my argument is for cocky NU fans coming on to a CU site running their mouths to a team with 3 wins. I do think based off a lot of things like CU's play at home this season, rivalry game, players playing for their coach, senior day, recent games in this series, and a bad NU offense is a formula for a close game and possible buff victory.

Great, good for you, I wouldn't expect anything less. What's wrong with mixing it up this week and thinking we have a better team? Sure we come to your board as I'm sure some CU fans go to NU boards. Isn't that part of a rivalry? If things go your way on Friday you'll have a hay day and I wouldn't expect anything less.

I've given this favorite comeback of Fluffalo fan some thought. sCUm has had more success beating top 15 teams in the last 10 years then Big Red. I have a theroy as to why. sCUm is the perfect trap game for top 15 teams. Frequently teams will overlook sCUm in preparation for the next game on the schedule. There's generally nothing to be overly concerned about, rating, wins, stats, hostile environment, etc. so, sCUm has some skill players from time to time and they lay low keep it close and get a break to go their way and come out with a victory, sometimes.
On the other hand, everyone wants to put a star in their program with a win over Big Red so, the trap situation doesn't occur with us. Lot's of payback for beat downs we've administered over the years and we end up getting every teams best shot.
