The Hawk circles, hundreds of feet above the fields below. The field mouse is busy gathering his food ahead of the coming winter cold. The Hawk, with his acute vision, spots the almost imperceptible movement in the grassy field. He focuses in on his prey. Suddenly, he tucks in his wings and begins his 100 mph decent. Like a guided missle, he zeros in on the unaware field mouse. Instantly, the field mouse sees a shadow appear. But it is too late. The Hawk slams into his prey with his lethal talons. And the field mouse, innocently gathering food to sustain his life, becomes the nourishement for The Hawk so that he can live to hunt for future prey.
