Jon Embree hire as Cleveland Browns TE coach

He was pretty mellow on the radio. Says no hard feelings anymore. He wasn't the most articulate but said he's excited about the role in Cleveland. He said he will continue to support Buffs4Life, etc. Also of note, he said he doesn't think he will coach in college again. Prefers the pros.

Said he's done w/college ball, unless a very unique situation were to arise. He kept it cool.Best of luck to him.

Cleveland is such a lousy franchise that is creates a great opportunity. Win and you are part of the turn around staff, lose and you can blame it on the franchise and move on.

no ****, sherlock. Mostly because he sucks ASS as a college coach.

+ coaching in pros would be so easy in comparison. Not having to make sure kids go to class and at the pro level most players know what they are doing, it is the college coaches that teach / find positions for gifted athletes.

Sounds like a level head ultimately prevailed.

I'm glad to hear that B4L has legs after the firing.

No matter what Rialto or others might say, its hard for people who bleed black and gold to all of a sudden stop caring about their school, their teammates, friends, and everyone who made a difference in their lives while living on planet Boulder.

Awesome news! Shows you can't be held down when you bleed black and gold. I hope JE comes up through the ranks of the pros and gets himself another shot as head coach.
