Josh Scott Going Pro Speculation Thread

We're starting to get there.

In fairness, at the time Alec made his call we all were used to decades of a star player leaving and the result being that CU would suck again for a while.

It takes a little while to get used to the new dynamic of having a program instead of a star-driven team.

Yeah... but - think about a team with Jelly and Fortune on it for a second and tell me you wouldn't LOVE to see that. It always seems we're one player away from making that jump from being the kind of team that always makes the tournament to the team that always makes the sweet 16.

Best way to get beyond the "one player away" problem as a program is to keep sending guys to the NBA so that we can get to the point where Tad is able to have a roster of 13 Top 150 talents with the best 8 getting the tourney minutes.

I'm taking the long view. And so far we haven't had a guy who has left too early based on draft results. As long as we avoid the Jahii Carson type situations, I'm happy with the roster turnover.

Can I start the official "Eli Stalzer to the NBA speculation thread?" Just think about the offseason work he put in in his quest to be CU's next great sharpshooter.
