I love Lee Corso too!
For the record, Corso was the only personality on ESPN who picked the Buffs to win the Big XII Championship game in 2001. There wasn't anyone else on the network who even gave the Buffs a chance to be in that game, let alone win it.
"Not so fast my friend..."
Not to say that Herbstreit and Blackledge are idots too, but they also picked OSU to win. I was pretty surprised that there was so much love for OSU from these guys before the game. I know Kirk is an OSU guy, and he was buying into the thought that the loss to Florida provided them enough motivation to win this game.
Corso is hit or miss with me. Sometimes I like how he picks the underdog. In general, Herbstreit is my favorite of the crew since he looks more at coaching science and X's O's than Corso does.
/wonders how many pencils Corso goes through during a college football season.
I love Corso. He says funny shiat. Simply put, College Football is just another form of entertainment.
He didn't get the memo.
Nor did I
The classics never get old...... :smile2:
I like Corso he's entertaining - of course he is propped up by Fowler the Buff - I like game day and now can't watch for 8 months
hysterically funny. his whole putting on the tiger head, etc = classic.
I love Corso be, when cause in 1995 when Gameday was in Boulder, he wore my Grand poobah hat when he picked us over Leland Mcelroy and the Texas A&M Aggies!
Crash Davis -
Hilarious....great sign in the background. Where were they that day?
Corso is moonlighting ???
he should stick to football
He is moonlighting as a college football analyst. The other thing is a full time job for him...
Are you saying he looks just like the piss boy?
Either the same person, or brothers.
Isn't that Mel Brooks?
Yes, that's Mel Brooks. And yes, I suppose there's a slight resemblance between the two.
I want to say Georgia, it was a few years ago.
Here's the funny part of that whole episode, the guy who held up the sign was interviewed:
1. He wouldn't give his last name because he hopes to work for ESPN some day (of course...)
2. His general beef with Corso and the media was that they never give Georgia or any other SEC team enough credit. All I can say to that is :wow::lol:
Please don't insult Mel Brooks like that.
