"Some (marketing companies) take their ideas around and see if the public likes it (before launching an official campaign)," Leffler said. "It doesn't make a difference if people like it or not. You set a plan based on a system you know works. I tell all people I work with 'don't listen to that stuff'. You cannot come close to making a decision based on what people say on a message board or chat room. Not everybody is going to like it. And that's not what's important. Getting the word out and getting people talking is what's important.
