LSU at Miss State game thread

Honestly, what has LSU done to this point? They beat UO, an overrated rinky dinky gimmick offense (that can't beat anyone with more than a week to prepare) in what was basically a home game, and then they beat Miss St. Those kids can't even spell count right. Call me back when they do something real besides eating a **** load of corndogs.
I think Oregon was rated #3 when LSU crushed them. Mississippi State beat Michigan 52 - 14 in last year's Gator bowl, and were rated #25 up until last night. Mississippi State had only 20 yds of total offense in the 2nd half until they got 50 on the last drive of the game, which was garbage time. Next up is at WV who is currently rated # 19, and were 9-4 last year. Line em up, and we will knock them down. This defense can shut anybody down, Bama included. Cajuns don't eat corndogs, they eat crawfish.

LSU's D is something else, they have to have the most speed of anyone in the country on that side of the ball. This was a good Mississippi State offense they completely smothered tonight. Even more importantly, Jarrett Lee isn't ****ing up all the time anymore -- was an efficient 21/27, 213yds, 1TD 1int. Lee (and Jefferson) have been total liabilities the past couple years, but it looks like he's improved enough this year to get the ball to the playmakers without throwing 3 costly int's along way. That's the difference between a 9-3 Cotton Bowl season and an 11-1 season with a shot at the national championship for them.

Mullen worked miracles getting Mississippi State to 9-4 with a Gator Bowl win over Michigan last year, but taking the next step is going to be a tall task for them in that brutal SEC West. This loss tonight was expected - what really hurt was last week when their QB was tackled literally 1 inch away from the end zone as time expired to lose at Auburn. Now, just like that, they're 0-2 in conference play already. They'll still be a factor this year though and put a dent in someone's SEC title hopes -- South Carolina and Alabama both go to Starkville.
LSU was 11-2 last year.

LSU has a great D nobody would question that. Their offense is pretty average eventhough they can run it. I think that will be their undoing eventually.

LSU and Bama will be a great game but the loser will not play for the championship. The west is tough but I think that Oklahoma is going to be playing Bama for the MNC. I think they roll FSU in Tally this weekend.

The ACC is about to have yet another tough weekend in a big weekend of non-conference games for them.

Ok Captain Literal, and the last three years they've been to the Peach Bowl (5 losses), Capital One Bowl (4 losses) and Cotton Bowl (2 losses).
Nice work, you cherry picking twit. You conveniently left out the year before when they won the National Championship.

LSU is a damn strong football team. The only advantage Bama has on them this year is we play in Tuscaloosa. BTW those tickets are going for $300 for upperdeck/endzone and up to $500 on the lower level. LSU fans are my favorite traveling fans. They are a hoot.

Is this a joke? Dallas is now a home game for LSU? WTF?

Agreed. LSU and BAma will both be 8-0 going into their game at Bama. Can't wait for that game.

Probably because I'm talking about Jarrett Lee and Jordan Jefferson and their history of ****ing up in the big games, dumbass. Were they playing in '07, or are you too stupid to know that also? This isn't an LSU board, if you want rah-rah LSU then I'm sure there's a better board for you to find. Next time remember what the original point of someone's comments are before you go running your mouth

Jarrett Lee has not been bad in big games. I actually think he's much better than Jefferson in leading that LSU team.

This is an LSU thread dip $3!t. You are the stupid one because Jarrett Lee won the Florida game with a touchdown pass, and sealed the Bama game with a long completion both last year with little time left. P!$$ off!

Tiger fans have been saying that for over a year. Miles had a big loyalty with Jefferson. He defended him during his worst of times. When he kicked him off the team, the black community was all over Miles claiming discrimination. They completely ignored the fact that the other player Miles kicked off the team is white.
