So the Buffs are favored in the Pit...... ummmmmmmm.... huh?

The Lobos have lost to in-state rival New Mexico St. twice already this year, and St. Mary's on Friday in Los Angeles. Before the 2nd game against NMSU in Las Cruces there was a pre-game fight in which punches were thrown and Lobos forward Cory Manigault was suspended indefinitely. His status tonight is 'uncertain.'

Did you know that Cory Manigault is the nephew of Earl "The Goat" Manigault, Harlem playground legend who reportedly could grab a quarter off the top of the backboard? Also, it seems Cory played with Shane Gatling last season in JC.

I saw the name and wondered. Hell of a blood line there. As a hoops fan Rucker Park is a bucket list item.

Did you ever see the movie 'Rebound' with Don Cheadle?

If the Buffs solidly defend the 3 they'll be fine. Mix in any level of rebounding advantage and we're safe as houses. UNM can't win if they don't shoot over 40% from 3.

I’m nervous about this game. Playing in The Pit aside, Weir is a good coach with a big and very fit team that can be very good on offense. (or really bad, sometimes in the same game - see: the UTEP game). I could see this being a very high scoring game.
 
Buffs had better start playing some interior D and stop throwing away the ball or this is going to get into blowout territory very soon.
 
Do these guys even care? They look horrible. Who cares how loud the crowd is. Just play basketball. And did MW miss three free throws early?
