Men's Golf at the Alister Mackenzie Invitational

The men's golf team was back in action today at the Alister Mackenzie Invitational from Sonoma, California hosted by #4 Cal. There is a 16 team field that features a couple of other ranked teams such as #21 Arizona State and #46 BYU. The Sonoma Golf Club is a par 72, 7103-yard course where the teams will play 36 holes of the 54-hole stroke-play event Monday before finishing with 18 holes Tuesday. Each team will field five players with the top four scores each day counting towards the team’s total. A shotgun start is scheduled to begin Monday’s action at 8:15 a.m. PT, while teams will tee off from the first and 10th holes Tuesday beginning at 8 a.m. PT. Cal will start from holes 1A, 1B, 2, 3 and 4 and play in five fouresomes along with one player each from Arizona State, Brigham Young and San Francisco during all 36 holes on the first day of action. Tee times and pairings for the third and final round on the second day of the event is still to be determined.
