There has been a CU buffs football article on the front page of the Longmont Times-call sports section each day for the past 14 days. I did not go back and check last season but I remember some weeks seeing only a couple of articles. Casual fans are starting to chat about the buffs at work. Folks are starting to pay attention to the Buffs again! Anyone else noticing an increase in media coverage?

Exciting football, leads to enjoyable press. The writers like to write about competitive football vs dumpster fires.

A couple things have happened. First, CU football is more enjoyable. It's not the disaster it once was. There is tangible evidence that improvement is being made. Second, no John Henderson, coupled with what appears to be a muzzle on Jizla. When people aren't constantly bombarded by negativity, it's easier to be positive about the direction the program is headed.
