I've sent film and info to the coaches at CU. No response yet.:sad1:
I'm one who is happy for any kid who gets an offer and wants to play at the school. Keep us posted.
He's an athlete. Had 2 TD catches in our spring game, also plays RB, CB and safety. He may even line up at QB in the fall. Team leader, kid has turned his life around in the last 12 months. Grades on the rise and he will qualify before it's all said and done.

clear now. I need to re-up my membership...I'm a slacker.
So was that just coincidence that he got an offer from CSU or was there some sort of connection?
The same coach(Pat Meyer) saw him play last year as a junior and came back down this spring. There is no other connection. Meyer signed several guys out of Central Florida last year. I saw Meyer 7 or 8 times and only saw UCentral Florida once. We signed 11 guys to football scholarships, from D-1 to NAIA so there was some talent to see.
CSU has pulled a few good players out of Florida in recent years, IIRC. Must be Meyer.
Their punter is out of Clearwater, and two of the four rammie quarterbacks are from FL.
I just skimmed the current roster and there are at least 10 florida hometowns there (their top rusher, Mosure is a Floridian.)
Meyer was the strength coach at Florida State in 2007 under Bobby Bowden, but his alma mater is in Fort Collins.
yeah, he was the center on the team when we played in 92.
Tell him to commit to CSU.
Then get him to switch to CU the night before LOI day. The lammies will go berserk. That **** never gets old....
the old "Sam Wilder" always a classic!
Speaking of which...I noted an old friend around these parts recently.
hah. somebody needs to start a debunking gold thread stat.
FlaBuff and Dave Logan are always directing their kids to schools other than CU.
At least Logan has sent a handful of kids our way. :wink2:
Seriously, though. Congrats, FB, to you (and more importantly) your player. That's awesome for the young man.
