The more bowl eligible teams there are, the lower the chances of allowing a 5-7 team into the postseason. Yet another reason to cheer for the Buffs today!
 
There are 64 bowl eligible teams right now out of 70 bowl slots, and 11 teams within one win of bowl eligibility.
 
Doesn't seem correct, but I read somewhere yesterday, that CU could also get 1 of the Pac 10 bowl openings - they only have 4 teams wth 6 wins this mornin.
