New name: Willie Fritz (Tulane)

The guy I suggested a week ago has beat this guy in the playoffs in multiple years (Craig Bohl). He has NDSU seeded #1 and playing today, Sam Houston will have trouble with Montana today but could win. Bohl has lost in the Championship game 2 years ago and is the defending National Champion. They play they Championship game about 10 miles from me in Frisco TX at Pizza Hut Park.

30-9 at Sam Houston State with an appearance in the FCS Championship Game last season and already a berth in the FCS Semi-Finals this season....perhaps instead of being an arrogant prick a quick Google search would be logical, you must be one of the goofs that rush the field versus unranked opponents...

SHSU beat Montana State last night....
 
I didnt realize they played last night, no doubt he is a fine coach and has a good program going in Huntsville, Bohl though has Big time D1 experience as the DC and player at Nebraska
 
LT I think Bohl is just like Tressel, I mean they were playing in the North Central Conference with UNC and all of them decided they wanted to play on a bigger stage. How has that worked out for UNC ? Bohl built NDSU up from DII and really hasent missed a beat

No need to resort to name calling. Personally, I think the idea of CU hiring a non-FBS coach is laughable.

Why do you think he would be successful at Colorado? I've never met the man, how can I assess his football acumen? Bohn is not going to hire an FCS coach, period.
 
I like that he only has two losing seasons in 16 of coaching college football. I like that he has already been building ties in Texas which I believe we still need to recruit and must have some in Colorado since he has a kid on the roster from Columbine....
 
I agree with Bohl. His teams are solid. SHSU does have solid fundamentals and he would be an upgrade over the last staff, but it screams desperation.

Didn't Bohl have dog meat defenses at unl and was run out of town?
 
He did receive a 62-36 thrashing in 2001. His teams at NDSU have been outstanding. Completely forgot he was a fusker at that point in time.
