BOULDER – University of Colorado lacrosse assistant coach Hannah Nielsen has been inducted into Northwestern University’s Athletics Hall of Fame after a dominating four-year collegiate career on the women’s lacrosse team.
“It is such a tremendous honor to be recognized by such a prestigious university and athletic department and to be inducted into its Hall of Fame,” said Nielsen. “My time at Northwestern is one I look back on with a great sense of pride and it was a privilege to have the chance to play for such an elite lacrosse program.
“None of my individual accomplishments could have been possible without amazing coaches helping me along the way, and more importantly, amazing teammates and friends who were by my side from start to finish. It is a tribute to the Northwestern lacrosse program as a whole to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
