10th-seeded Colorado takes on No. 7-seeded Illinois in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at Erwin Center on Friday. It gets started at 4:40 p.m. ET and you can catch it on TNT. The Buffaloes have not played the Fighting Illini since the 1987-88 season, when they lost 86-68.
In their last outing, despite 18 points from Spencer Dinwiddie, the Buffaloes fell to Arizona 79-69 on Mar. 14. On top of his scoring average of 15.6 points per game, he delivers 3.2 rebounds per game. The Fighting Illini were defeated by Indiana 80-64 on Mar. 15 despite 16 points from Tracy Abrams. He leads the team in assists with 3.3 per game and steals with 1.4 per game. StatSmack! Colorado is better than Illinois
