I ran the Colorado Marathon in Fort Collins this weekend. You can't really see it in this picture but I had a grey CU hat on with a big ol' Ralphie right up front. Got a few comments and jeers but all in all the people of FT Collins were great cheering us all on.

For those that care - finish time 4:01:42. 41 minutes faster than previous marathon time. Not bad for a 36 yr old former GS skier with 2 reconstructed knees and some crushed vertebrae

Nice work man! Way to represent in the land of goats. I ran a marathon once.... ONCE! Never again. It ****ed me up good. I'll stick to 10k and an occasional 10 miler.

I ran to the fridge one.

Grats on beating your personal record Buff95!

Nicely done! I'm going to run a 1/2 marathon in a couple of months (my first). I hope I look that good when I cross the line.

My wife once asked me to train for a marathon with her. I told her I won't partake in an event that killed the first man who accomplished it. She hasn't asked me to train for one since.

Once I walked through the kitchen and grabbed a doughnut on the way to the garage, backed the care out to the sidewalk, opened the door, picked up the newspaper, back to the garage and grabbed another doughnut on the way to my recliner.

I have that workout copyrighted for my personal use and I am not afraid to sue.:smile2:

No wait; I have 'sat down and gave birth to another Nebraskan' in the middle of my workout, so you are good.

I watched a marathon on TV once, feel asleep and had a dream that I was running, woke up real tired and decided to take a nap.......GO BUFFS!!!!

But congrats on the new time!!!!!!!

Congrats, I do good just to run 3-5 miles. I hate running, I do it because I have to, but I dont I'll ever run a marathon.
