Recent discussion on accuracy of offer lists. Tennessee and Nebraska throwing out 400-500 offers per cycle? Alabama with over 200.
This article has some strong takes. Early offers are one thing. Guys being pursued to the point where they are offered official visits (OV's are paid for by the school and limited) are a real litmus test. Getting thru the filter where things such as character, work ethic, grades are also judged is a different story than an early offer.
Personally, have always valued offer lists, but try to read the true level of interest come mid recruiting cycle vs just a list of offers.
Good article from SI.
