Official Game(s) Thread - CU vs Utah

carlon playing like he wants it. booker playing incredibly greedy basketball, forcing a lot.

Haven't scored a single point in almost 8 minutes. Disgraceful. Some basic movement on offense would help -- do they know what a ****ing screen is? Set one

Hey it's better than the 11 minutes they went without scoring in the first half.

Pretty sure I've never seen a team literally go half the game without scoring and still have a chance to win...

27 minutes later? Really?

11:00 PM - 11:27 PM.... :sad1:

The amazing thing is that, 38 minutes into the game, CU has gone over 19 minutes without scoring. In the other 19 minutes they've put up 45 points. It's their consistency that I admire...

Okay ... it's a four posession game with less than two minutes to go.

WHY FOUL??? :bang:

53-41. Good to see us get our act together a bit at the end. This was ugly, think part of this was getting caught looking ahead to Oregon, at least I can hope. Anyway, we live to fight another day and that's what counts.

Back to back 20+ win seasons, Congrats BUFFS!!!

woot ... we win.

We play like this tomorrow against UO and it will be UGLY.

Get it together guys!

Only shot 35% tonight, including just 9% from the bonusphere. The fact we had a shooting night like that and won a game by a dozen points can be considered encouraging in its own right. It pisses me off that Utah had the edge on the boards on us 30-28. Going to have to find a way to be far scrappier against the Ducks. On the bright side, we shot 75% from the charity stripe tonight. That's something we'll need to continue, as you simply can't shot yourself in the foot from the line in high intensity games like this.

Roberson did his thing with 20 points 11 boards. Brown, while having some rough patches, was able to get 15 points and 8 boards. Hopefully this can get him some confidence to have a big time breakout game against Oregon. Dinwiddie added 10 points, while Dufault struggled tonight only having 6 points but did add 5 rebounds. Booker was totally off tonight, only adding 2 points. Tomlinson was invisible for much of the game, an assist or steal here and there, but 0 points from your senior point guard isn't going to cut it doing March Madness. Adams and SHT were complete liabilities out there tonight, neither even manged to score.

Still, we live to see another day, and that's what it's all about. It's going to take a very solid effort to beat Oregon, but they are hardly unbeatable. We aren't exactly facing Kentucky here. It can be done. They definitely got some lucky bounces on us in Eugene, and if we come in motivated and have our team firing on all cylinders, we've got a chance. Also, dare I dare I say, they're do for an off-night of their own after being hot lately?

Attendance was 6,747 tonight.

Did not look it.

Agree, but it can be hard to tell in those huge arenas with little groups spread out all over the place.

At least our Buff students did a good job - you could definitely see/hear them supporting the boys.

There were far more Buff than Ute fans in the arena, and many of the Buff fans who had mid-deck seats tried to move down and fill in behind the students. This was working well until around half-time when the Staples event staff came down and started checking tickets and kicked some of us out of the student held section and back to the mid-deck.

They put Scotty and Hayden on the kiss cam.

Too bad the men's team didn't score 2 more points. Then Colorado would have beaten Utah 55-41 twice in the same day. Probably would have been a rather unique occurrance.

They had to do this cuz you know, it was a sellout so you were definitely sitting in someone else's seats.
