"Game manager"-As Rich Rodriguez said in a recent interview "I have no idea what that is"

"Deceptively quick"-Just say he has average speed, but can still be effective

"They are better than their record indicates"-Nope, not really

Doesn't exactly fit, but sports radio around here has told me that "Oregon puts their pants on one leg at a time" at least 58 times in the last few weeks.

Just que up an old Hawk press conference and you'll be treated to about 20 different, and equally annoying, cliches.

Work on the little things, bring your lunch pail, strap up our helmet, run through a wall, cinch it up...

Announcers who insist on talking about the "big tight end" no matter what size the TE is compared to other TEs. Same thing when they talk about the "big defensive tackle" as if there are a bunch of little DTs running around out there.

When did the lingo change to where they no longer reference an offensive player catching "passes?" It's always "balls" now. "___ has caught ___ balls in this game."

"______ doesn't want to get into a shootout with _______." yeah, the point of the game is to NOT score points.

Physical gets thrown around way too much as an adjective. It's become a generic catch all to basically say one player or team is just better.

Anything from draft analysts...."high motor" typically reserved for under size white guy at whatever position. "Football IQ" is another terrible one.
