Dan was unable to keep the valuable recruits that he got. And to put down Scotty is just stupid. That guy has been our #1 reciever for a while and he continues to make plays every day. I think our biggest problem of the whole Dan Hawkins era was the play of the offensive line. We could not run the ball when we needed to run and our pass protection was piss poor. The first year we were super thin, then super young, then super injured. Whatever the excuse was, the offense line made it impossible for our QBs and RBs to succeed.
