Early bday present for me! Via Email:

Coach Mike MacIntyre and the University of Colorado football team will host a free, open scrimmage at Folsom Field on Saturday, August 15 at 8:30 a.m. In addition to being the best opportunity for fans to preview the Buffs before the start of the season, CU will also host a select-a-seat event and hold a “Season Ticket Holder Selfie Session” on the field after the scrimmage. Gates will open at 8 a.m. and fans can park for free in lot 436 (enter off of Regent Drive just south of Colorado Ave). Gates on the east and west side of Folsom Field will be open and concessions will be open on the east concourse.

The select-a-seat event, now in its second year, where fans can actually pick seats that are available for purchase so they know the exact location and perspective which action is taking place on the field.

Season Ticket holders will then be invited onto the field after the scrimmage for a selfie session where they can take photos and meet current players and coaches.

CU’s home schedule features four great Pac-12 games against Arizona, Oregon, Southern California and Stanford. The Ducks and Cardinal are the favorites in the Pac-12 North as picked by both the media and coaches in the preseason poll, while the Trojans are picked to win the Pac-12 South and the Wildcats are the defending south champions. Truly there will be great games all season long at Folsom Field.

The Buffs return 49 lettermen in 2015 including 14 starters and a total of 24 players who have had significant starting experience. The scrimmage will be the 12th of a total of 29 practices held prior to the season opener at Hawai’i on Sept. 3.

If you’d like to purchase your season tickets or 3-Game Pick Your Plan before the scrimmage, visitCUBuffs.com/tickets or call 303-49-BUFFS.

Definitely plan on being there. Man...it'll be my first time back in Folsom five months to the day after the spring game. That was a LONG time ago.

Do we want to select some seats for the 15th and get an Allbuffs section together?

One of these years I will make time for something like this. Looking forward to reading some allbuffs reports on the quality of our squad.
