OSU was always going to do what OU did. Tech is tied to the Whorn's purse strings. Should they be stupid enough to not join the Big XII Lite (after all, they DO live in Stillwater and Lubbock), I can't see either of them as a fit in the Pac-12 when they are amoung the lower ranked academic schools in the Big XII. Why would the Pac-12 even consider them individually?

Figured it would end this way...with a whimper from both. Too bad the pack of 7 "others" couldn't band together and just walk away. Too bad they can't just walk away and all join another conference as a pack. Even the MWC would be a better situation given what they are going to have to endure.
Still do not think this thing is completely over. The Big 10 still wants ND and NO WAY they will come now that things are starting to settle down. Wouldn't be surprised if they are still thiinking of a way to get the ball rolling to get ND...would like to think a Mizzou invite would be able to do it, but they will most likely have to go bigger if they want to scare ND into joining.
