mods, feel free to move if'n you want.
Nice, I like it when it gets dark early.
This means Hawk gets an extra hour as CU's coach.
i like it when it's not still fully dark at almost 7 AM when i've been up for an hour....a la last week. weirds me out. my whole body clock, daily routine is all about getting up at sunrise.
You're not the boss of me!
I have always hated Daylight Savings, with it getting dark so early, but I think I'm officially getting old because I'm kind of looking forward to waking up with the sun again. Dark mornings suck.
Pitch black at 6.45am sucks
Beats pitch black at 6:45 PM, IMO.
I'm sorry ... but did you mean to say (re the bolded) you hate going off Daylight Savings time? Because that makes more sense.
In a thread in the Pub (last year I think) I posted how utterly ludicrous it is to change clocks twice a year ... either stay with standard time all year or go with daylight savings time all year ... don't care which, but pick one and stick with it.
I've always thought the Chinese had it right on this. They don't mess around with time-zones or with DST -- just put the whole country on Beijing time and adjust business hours as you move East/West.
When I opened this and read the OP, I was, like, "WTF? Why the hell are we changing our clocks on Monday/Tuesday this year?"
I never know which is which, but I figure you get the point. I've lived most my life in Hawaii where we don't change that clocks (of course the shortest the day gets is 11 hours,) and I agree we should just keep the same time throughout the year.
Grab 'em by the China....
By the end, I didn't want it to end.
As far as daylight savings time I say we go a half hour all year round. Cause screw it we're America and we do s**t like that to the rest of the world. Ex. The Metric and English system.
