other games 11/1

Inside handoff on 4th and goal from the 3 against MSU's defense? Arkansas deserves to lose.

And they probably will, they effed that possession royally. Buhlemia can keep running the ball all day I guess.

Ole Miss scores ... but probably loses their best WR at the end of the play.

Horrible injury and it looked like he may have fumbled before the line to make.

Looked like the ball didn't make the line

Yea doesn't look like he scored. Now the question is do they award the recovery to Auburn, and it looks like Auburn did recover it.

speaking of losing their best WR ... Higgins for csu lands hard on his left shoulder and it could be bad
rams escape SJSU with a win but I don't think they are a Top 25 team... their defense isn't good

Oregon putting a whipping on Stanford on national TV.

Hard to see how they don't put them in the top 4 this week.

I'm starting to think CU has destroyed the pac12. So many QBs have made their debut versus the buffs and had career days. The coach will play What he thinks is a phenom, only to watch them decline over the next year plus as they play better teams.

They'll probably be ranked at least in the AP poll with ECU losing, unless USC jumps them and takes that spot.

They beat San Jose State by 7. SJSU came in at 3-4.

8-1 is a great season and CSU is a good team. I take nothing away from them. But the MWC isn't exactly murderer's row this year. Maybe that win at Boston College is enough to give the hat tip to the Top 25. But, man, when you're not winning your division in a MWC that has zero ranked team it's hard to say the team should be ranked.

No worries. They'll put a beating on Presbyterian next week and be back in the Top 10 over teams with 1 loss.

I was referring to the last play. Seems like they had time to get the first down, stopping the clock, and then try a Hail Mary. Certainly would have had more of a chance than the farked up play they tried.

Also, **** Georgia. I picked up their defense for my fantasy team this week and they gave up 38 to a ****ing Florida that can't complete a pass.

They better not be in the Top 20 when the new rankings come out.

So Ole Miss is done more or less, Miss. State still chuggin'

And just to provide some local flavor, I was up in Oxford a few weeks ago for a conference, and they gave us a historic tour of Oxford and a bit of the campus, which is small but very nice for those who haven't been there.

The historical point that stood out to me was that the term 'Ole Miss' is not a common nickname for the state of Mississippi like you would assume. The term 'Ole Miss' came from the title of the first yearbook in 1870 whatever, which was named by a girl who took the term 'Ole Miss' from what the slaves would call the lady of the house, or the wife of the plantation owner.

That being said, the term Ole Miss is being phased out by the academic side as you can imagine. They've made movements to get rid of it completely, but the tradition keeps it from getting anywhere. They're trying to confine Ole Miss to just athletics, which is a huge point of contention from the alums and the fanbase.

At least they don't wave Confederate flags at games anymore....or do they?
