Usually a slow week with finals or it being over break. Hard to get big time matchups scheduled on a campus this week.

On Monday, we saw ASU (the Pac-12's ranked team at #18) get crushed at unranked Vanderbilt. Ugh.

We do have a few fun ones tonight.

Tuesday:

Xavier at Mizzou, 5pm, ESPNU
#14 Buffalo (undefeated - they are really good) at Syracuse, 6pm, ESPN2
Creighton at Oklahoma, 7pm, ESPNU

Probably going to take 12 conference wins to sniff an at large bid for anyone in the conference this year. Ugh is right. Scum devils might have a little more wiggle room, but probably not if they get stomped by Kansas this weekend. If it ends up being another year with 10 teams hovering around .500 in conference, 1 bid status is almost certain. :bang:

Buffs will need to be just about undefeated at home and .500 or better on road to make it

Thought there was something wrong with the tint settings on my tv. Realized I was watching Oregon at Baylor.

Buffalo Marquette game on FS1 is fun. Game of runs. Buffalo is on a run right now.

There is always something wrong with watching Baylor no matter what they are wearing.

The Mizzou-Illinois rivalry is one of the best around that doesn't get the national pub. One of the reasons I hope the Big Ten, if it decides to expand again, pulls in Kansas and Missouri. The basketball rivalries would be sick.

Illinois lost at home to FAU today. 4-9 is their worst start since '74-'75. Brad Underwood's buyout is $12.5 million. At least they got Lovie Smith extended.
