Our Hawaii win is looking good

The Rainbows have rattled off 6 straight wins since losing in Boulder. Their only other loss was to USC, and that was a shoot-out.

Sure, they are playing a craptastic WAC schedule, but its interesting that the Buffs are the only team to lay the wood to them.

Hawkins is good at picking off a few teams that he really shouldn't. Of couse, he gives it back in spades by losing to teams that he really shouldn't.

Hey, and we've lost to pretty good teams. Maybe we aren't that bad!

Please.

While I don't disagree with you, it's all irrelevant if Hawkins can't get the team bowl eligible.

If Hawaii takes advantage of 1st half opportunities, they might have blown us out. They looked pretty solid and just ran out of gas, I am glad we caught them on the mainland. It will be interesting to see how we fare on the islands in the future.

We are 3-5. If our three wins were against Auburn, Oregon, and Alabama, we would still ****ing suck because we lost to Tech and Baylor at home and got blown out by three teams on the road.

meh... the USC game was close till about 3 min before half ...then USC always seemed to be ahead by 13 or more with teams exchanging scores-

other than Nevada and Fresno, Hawaii hasn't played tough teams at all

it was an OK win for CU but nothing I'm that impressed with-

The Hawaii win again proves that Hawkins knows what it takes to win the WAC. San Jose State, New Mexico State and Idaho should all take a long look at hiring the man.

btw, does anyone know if the termination buyout payments stop if Hawkins accepts another job?

Aloha isn't an easy place to play, won't be easy to get that W next year. More than anything else, Hawk's inability to get his team to play with fire on the road is humiliating. CU was a decent road team, even with GB, we have to get back to that
