And that, I think, was the handle -- that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn’t need that. Our energy would simply prevail. There was no point in fighting -- on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave.

That Wazzu prediction has the Cougs winning 7 games, including CU! :wow::rofl::rofl::rofl:
They've got the only coach in the world more incompetent than Hawk, they'll be lucky to win 2

He also had Arizona losing to us in the Arizona section then he said we would lose to Arizona. Very funny that he thinks that we beat Hawaii on the road and Cal but lose to a team that's won like 5 games in 3 years.

Yeah, Wulff is 5-32 in 3 years. Wazzu fans must be completely delusional at this point if they think they have any hope at all of even getting within range of a bowl game this year. The "we return a bunch of starters" argument doesn't have any validity when there's no talent to be found. The losing has certainly taken its toll on their recruiting. They'll beat Idaho State (they're one of the worst in FCS), but aside from that it's hard to find another win on their schedule. It isn't gonna come in Boulder, that's for sure
