Pac-12 rivalries are nastier than I thought

I've got family that went to Arizona and we were talking about the rivalry with ASU. They told me to look up Steve Kerr, ASU and PLO.

Just googled it. Holy ****. This one rivals "Sal is Dead, Go Big Red".

"The only thing I'd rather do than watch Steve play basketball," Malcolm Kerr once said, "is be president of AUB."

American University in Beirut.

On Jan. 18, 1984, Kerr was murdered by Islamic militants for the crime of running that school. Two nights later, Steve cried before tipoff and then delivered his best game as an Arizona freshman, making five of seven shots against Arizona State.

He played to escape the pain. He even played the night an ASU crowd hit him with a sick chant of "PLO," sending Steve into a 20-point first-half rage.

Reading the comments of their fans trying to justify the end of the wisco football game was a whole lot of stupid. Every fan base has a few idots but they seem to be overrun with them.

They are the Raiders of the PAC 12

ASU is basically University of Phoenix with a football team.

You give ASU way too much credit. UPhoenix has admission standards.

If the entire ASU facility was re-located in Cali, it would be considered the nation's largest commuter/community college and still remain the ugliest campus eveah.

I remember the Arizona fans being pretty cool about the blown call at the end of our basketball game in Tuscon. Are the ASU fans less gracious when given an officiating gift?

But, in ASU's defense, they are the #1 supplier of porn stars in the United States. So they do have that going for them.

This is the only reason any of us should need to hate ASU:

Hopefully the CUnit will step up and shower this asshole with appropriate signage and chanting come Feb 19.

Might as well throw some hate towards the whole family while you are at it. They both look like D-bags too

There are a lot of good, smart ASU alumni out there. I just don't know any of them.

ASU "fans" will be jumping off the bandwagon after ASU loses a game or two. You see a lot of ASU stickers and hand signals in Phoenix, but they still can't manage to fill their stadium or arena (even when top 25 teams are in town). ASU fans suffer from whiny bitch/fake tough guy syndrome. If the tables had been turned Saturday night, the fans and local media would've been ****ing furious and whined about the call into January. As it stands, the attitude is that Wisconsin should just STFU and tough it out because ASU dominated the game anyway. My wife said after the Wisconsin game on Saturday night that ASU should forfeit that game to Wisconsin. I laughed at the idea that any team would do that, but said to her that ASU and Graham are the least likely school/coach combination in the country to do something like that. As a lifelong resident of Arizona, she just nodded her head in agreement.
