[IMG]Despite the Pac-12 conference being home to some of the best quarterbacks and wide receivers in the country, some teams do occasionally run the football. Some better than others. Some really better than others. Our friends at Athlon Sports continue their series of assorted Pac-12 rankings. They've given us the Pac-12 coaches and quarterbacks, and now they are up with their running back rankings. Here's how the top 20 shakes out, which includes last year's production, expectations for 2012 and surrounding personnel: De'Anthony Thomas, Oregon Kenjon Barner, Oregon John White, Utah Stepfan Taylor, Stanford Isi Sofele, Cal Cameron Marshall, Arizona State Johnathan Franklin, UCLA Curtis McNeal, USC Ka'Deem Carey, Arizona Jesse Callier, Washington Malcolm Agnew, Oregon State Rickey Galvin, Washington State Tony Jones, Colorado Bishop Sankey, Washington Tyler Gaffney, Stanford C.

So far ESPN has us with the worst QB, receivers, and RB in the PAC-12.

Why would they be higher? They're all unproven.

Wasn't arguing for higher ranking. Just pointing it out.

    Seems fair for the moment.

Our running backs seem to have some talent (when also including the incoming freshmen). Our running back performance will be dependent on our offensive line. We need to see significant improvement in the offensive line if we are going to see much from our running backs.

some of the guys on the list have just about as little experience as Tony Jones. Same thing with the quarterbacks. Don't know why we are immediately put dead last. At least throw us a pity 10th here and there.
