The decision to fire Colorado coach Jon Embree has drawn mixed reviews. Surprising to some. Not so much to others. Some laud the decision, saying there was no sign of progress and a change had to be made after the win total dropped from three last year to just one this year.Others contend he got a raw deal and that two years wasn't enough to turn things around. Further, the fact he was a dedicated alumnus made the decision that much more bitter for those who were Embree believers.
